Our Refund Policy

We are committed to providing accurate, professional, and timely translation services. Because each translation is a custom project tailored to your documents, refunds are limited as outlined below. By placing an order with Lingu Canada, you agree to the following refund terms:

   1. Cancellations

A refund is only available if the project has not yet been assigned to a translator.
Once work has begun, the order is considered in progress and is no longer eligible for cancellation.
 
    2. Non-Refundable Cases

• Refunds will not be issued for translations delivered according to the agreed specifications.

• If a third party (such as a government office, school, or employer) rejects a translation for reasons unrelated to translation quality, no refund will be provided. We encourage clients to confirm acceptance criteria before placing an order.

    3. Quality Concerns

• If you believe the translation contains errors or does not meet the agreed requirements, you must contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery.

• We will review your concern and, if justified, provide corrections or revisions at no extra cost.

• Refunds will only be considered if we are unable to correct the issues within a reasonable timeframe.

• Requests received after 7 calendar days may not be eligible for review.

• Refunds remain at our sole discretion after reasonable attempts at correction.

    4. Non-Delivery

• If we fail to deliver a translation by the agreed deadline without prior notice or agreement, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund, depending on the circumstances.

   

    5. Force Majeure

• We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: courier or postal issues, email or technical failures, statutory holidays, or unforeseen events such as natural disasters or strikes. In such cases, deadlines will be extended as necessary, and refunds will not apply.
